The watermelon- mint sherbet has been on my To-Do-List for summer for a while now. When I bought the melons home that is exactly what I planned to do.
The mint in my patio garden has grown abundantly this season and I love including it in my recipes. Nothing to beat the cool, fresh minty flavor in your menu.
Have you tried using mint in your smoothies, salads, curries or festive rice yet ? They taste great and have so many health benefits. Why, I have even tried using them in my sugar scrubs this season,.It helps keep skin smooth and shiny after all the sun & sand effect from the beach trips.
Each Fall season, I buy local honey from the farmer’s fair at the pumpkin patch, that lasts for the whole year, until the next fall season come around. A friend told me, consuming local honey helps prevent pollen allergies caused seasonally and it has worked. You might want to try that little handy tip too, if you suffer from pollen allergies.
Canned coconut milk, works best for this recipe, but if you are able to make fresh coconut milk even better!
Made with just 4 simple ingredients, what more can you need to fix an easy dessert for friends on the patio this summer?
