There are officially 4 distinct seasons in the Midwest., with warm to hot summers and cold and often snowy winters.
- Winter takes place in December, January, and February.
- Spring lasts throughout the months of March, April, and May.
- Summer consists of the months June, July, and August.
- Fall covers September, October, and November.
If you are wondering ,why would I talk about seasons in a separate category on my life style blog ,well here is the reason why : our lives pretty much revolves around the seasons in the year, here in the Midwest.
Being born and raised in India, where I felt the sun from both sides pretty much the first half of my life, I had no idea what the four seasons where all about. Yes, like you, I had seen the picture post cards, but never really lived through them.
Our moods, our food, our clothing, why even our commute revolves around these four seasons. Hence, it is only natural for me to include the influence of seasons, here on my life style blog.
Be it a flowery spring mood, a day by the beach in summer, the myriad of Fall colors that I am in awe of each year, or the cold and frigid winter you will experience the joys and frustrations of the seasons through my writing on my blog here, backed by visual treats in nature photography.
So stay tuned !
