Nothing like being prepared !

β€œHe who is best prepared can best serve his moment of inspiration.”
~ Samuel Taylor Coleridge

When I first moved to this country, it was almost the beginning of Winter.Coming from a land of eternal sunshine, loud & bright vibrant colors, the silence of the gloomy winter cold was deafening.(Yup, it took a while for the mind chatter to kick in πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ ).

The four seasons was a thing , I had only read in the books, never really understood what Spring or Fall or for that matter Winter looked like in real life. The one thing that tickled me to no end, was the fact about how instantly people here changed from Winter to Spring clothes, or Summer to Fall…it continued to awe me, coz the home decor changed, the clothes changed, the yard looked different, the porch was dressed up in the colors of the season, I loved everything about it…… yet,I wondered how could they have known, that the snow flakes would stop & the birds would fly in at a certain time ??…..now I’m catching the drift, at last ! This evening, I walked into a store, guess what I see ??
St. Paddy’s Day & Valentine’s day colors are already out, did we not just get done with New year’s day celebrations, yesterday ??
