Deepavali ” : “Deepa” means lamp, “avali” means an array or a row.
Deepavali the festival of LIGHTS , is celebrated with an array of lamps . An Indian festival celebrating the triumph of LIGHT over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance.
This year Deepavali is celebrated on October 27th, 2019 on a Sunday. Isn’t it time to gather the deepa‘s/lamps to LIGHT our way, this season ?
Well, today my intention while lighting the lamp goes like this….
May the Supreme LIGHT illumine our minds, enlighten our hearts and strengthen the human bonds in our homes and communities.
