Blueberries are a great source of fiber and antioxidants. They can be used in a smoothie fresh or frozen.

What can you pair blueberries with?

Blueberries pairs well with other berries, cardamom, mango, lemon, hazelnut, ginger, fig, and lavender. Their sweet and tangy complex flavor is enhanced when paired with these either in a smoothie or a dish.

Do you add milk in smoothies?

It is always good to start your smoothie with a cup and a half of a liquid base. This can be milk, or a dairy-free alternative such as soya or almond milk, natural or flavored yogurt, fruit juice, or for a tropical flavored smoothie, low-fat coconut milk or coconut water.
